This resource was created based off of the Montessori practice, Grace and Courtesy. It emphasizes the importance of respect, empathy, and kindness. Grace and Courtesy lessons teach young children how to interact with others in a polite, respectful, and considerate manner. I have also included classroom etiquette.
The way that it would be taught only takes a few minutes, as the teacher you would model a correct and an incorrect way. The children would then express which is the correct way. This would be the focus and continually practiced throughout the week. The scheme also has recap lessons built in as well.
This can be edited to suit your individual classroom needs

This is a basic provision progression map for your CP in the EYFS classroom. Instead of being set on topics and limiting the children this allows you to change your classroom environment based on the developmental stage your children are at.
You are able to edit this document based on what equipment you already have or can give you ideas for what you might need to get.
We use it as our long term plan for SLT and it enables us to move with the children at their pace. Plus its a lot more simple to look at and see where we want to go next.
This is an interactive self registration tool that also allows students to do an emotional check in first thing! It uses The Colour Monster images that can be easily introduced through the book.
It comes as 2 slides:
Slide 1 - Allows you to edit the children’s names. It can then be saved as an image.
Slide 2 - Use saved image from slide 1 as the background image for slide 2. Then all the children have to do is select the feeling they are having and slide it to their name.
I have used this for 2 years now in KS1 and EYFS. There is a little learning curve with the younger children but they quickly get the hang of it and love the book!
