Writing support for A Level.
A LONG lesson to talk pupils through how to ‘break down’ the essay title, work out what they need to be writing about to get the marks, and showing them what this could look like using exemplars from the exam board.
The lesson comes with a Powerpoint and a workbook (provided in PDF and Word).
Collated support and examiner reports from Edexcel to make them accessible for pupils. Gives pupils the opportunity to analyse the mark scheme and what is expected of them.
A collation of photo tasks from AQA SAMs and 2018 exam put into PPT to use as starters.
All slides are differentiated to support mixed groups; some slides have additional questions for early finishers, and all slides have a higher tier element to support mixed groups with foundation/higher together.
Simplified role plays for KS3 to use - all based around the theme of ‘Asking someone out’ in Spanish.
The ‘Examiner’ style card has example answers for pupils to use to help correct their partner.
A little independent booklet created for higher tier pupils to practise some of their tenses and structures.
Some of the bits included are from other fantastic authors on TES.
A set of worksheets for pupils to use at home. Can be printed as a pack (which is uploaded as part of this), or uploaded to your virtual learning environment as individual sheets.
The vocabulary list/knowledge organiser used with the unit is also attached.
A double-sided sheet with key vocabulary for the topic of holidays.
This topic has been split in half in my school so we cover present and past holidays together, enabling pupils to fully grasp the preterite and imperfect.
It contains:
key verbs for the unit in different tenses.
adjectives that are linked to the topic.
opinion phrases in different tense using different people.
some ‘complex phrases’ - including subjunctive and idioms.

As well as the translations themselves, there is also additional support in the form of individual word and verb translations.
Table mat resource to support pupils to practise the role play element of the speaking exam, and support their independent revision when uploaded to shared areas.
Includes key vocabulary needed for the role play element, as well as key verbs in the - yo, tú and usted forms.
Borrowed the concept from someone on Twitter - apologies, I cannot remember who, if you let me know then I can credit you.
I have created a knowledge and revision organiser for Module 2 of the Edexcel GCSE book.
This includes an editable document with reading, writing and translation tasks for pupils to practise, as well as a variety of vocabulary phrases rather than lists of vocabulary.
