This lesson has been designed to help transition students from KS3 to KS4 and to familiarise them with the techniques needed to annotate fiction texts. A lesson devised for top sets that breaks down the new AQA marking criteria and explores what is meant by 'precise', 'critical' and 'judicious'. This is easily available on the E-AQA website, hence why it's not included here. This is very well suited to middle - lower ability GCSE students.
