Links are also shown to KS1 subjects in relation to understanding the world and EAD to enable subject leaders throughout school to see how their subject is being taught in reception and nursery. Observational checkpoints are included for nursery to help to assess if children are ‘on track’ and ELGs for reception. Please note: at this time, the nursery maths sections are empty for Spring 2, Summer 1 and Summer 2. This is due to White Rose not having released these units as of yet. Once these are released this item with be updated and you will be able to redownload.

The template that we use to assess targets set out for children with EHCPs or whom we are gathering evidence to apply for EHCPs for. Set out across two pages, with details on how to complete each section. These should be created by class teachers at the beginning of each term and reviewed by SENDCOs and parents to ensure everyone has been consulted and is happy with the content for the term ahead.

A CVC writing activity that children can complete as part of adult-led learning, a CP enhancement or an end of term assessment. Differentiated 3 ways to suit varying abilities within your class. At this point in the year it is hugely common to have some children writing initial sounds, some writing full CVC words and some using digraphs.
