This is a collection of mental maths papers/tests for Year 5. The spreadsheet includes four sheets differentiated four ways (LA, MA, HA and Challenge) and includes answer sheets. What makes these different to other published mental maths material, is that each sheet can be randomised by simply pushing F9 on your keyboard, so there are almost an unlimited combination of questions for each paper. This means they can be used as often as you like with very little repetition. Use them daily, weekly, termly or as you wish. Use them for early bird, homework or to regularly assess the children's mental computation. Also included on the sheet is a record sheet if you wish to track pupil progress - simply fill in the names and record the results in the grid (scores will be colour coded for easy analysis). The previews represent just a fraction of the sheets that can be produced!

Read, write, order and compare numbers to at least 1,000,000 and determine the value of each digit

Every single Year 4 objective (NC 2014) is covered in each of the three child friendly tests. Not enough? This is a COMPLETE resource pack (up to 7 lessons) for teaching all Year 5 Statistics objectives. This is Lesson 4 of a five lesson Symmetry unit of work for Year 4.
