This is a resource that can be used when teaching "El divorcio". It explains why Chile is the Spanish-speaking country in which there are less cases of divorce. If possible, they should also try to find an explanation for each mistake. Students can work in teams of 2 or 3 people and compete against other teams to see which team spots more incorrect verb forms. Answers are provided. This activity will help students realise how important verb accuracy is for the essay. Incorrect verb forms are considered as serious mistakes by examiners and any essay containing a few serious errors will never reach the top band as far as AO3 is concerned.
