I have created a powerpoint that helps students to answer a 6 mark question The 6-mark question: A car, travelling at 20 m/s, with just the driver inside takes 70 m to stop in an emergency. The same car is then fully loaded with luggage and passengers as well as the driver. Explain why it will take a different distance to stop in an emergency from the same speed. The powerpoint has an attached A3 work sheet that has broken the question down into 5 mini questions. The Aim is to complete this work sheet with the help of the powerpoint and the science text book in order to be able to answer the 6 mark question at the end of the lesson. I have created a powerpoint that helps students to answer a 6 mark question "Sodium chloride is an ionic compound, containing sodium ions, Na+, and chloride ions, Cl–. Figure 10 shows the electronic configuration of sodium and chlorine.Explain how sodium and chlorine atoms form the ions in sodium chloride and how the ions are arranged in the solid sodium chloride. I have created an IT revision lesson with the entire oxford activate KS3 particles and their behaviour topics. This has been Created with metacognition in mind. 1.1 The particle model 1.2 States of Matter 1.3 Density 1.4 Melting and Freezing 1.5 Boiling 1.6 More changes of state 1.7 Diffusion a minimum of 5 slides per topic, the entire powerpoint would take 2+ hours to complete. I explain to students that they need to choose 2 topics that they struggled with.
