This resource was used for a student with a learning disability. This is great for students who are still learning how to read and write. The pictures are used for the student to identify the parts of the nervous system. The word has been spelled out clearly in large fonts to help clearly identify the part and create association between the word and the picture.
This is a resource I created for one of my science students with a learning disability. The student it was created for is still in the process of learning how to read and write, so this basically helps them to associate pictures with key works in the video.
This activity can be used to introduce homeostasis and assess the learning of the student after watching the video.

These are worksheets that I've created to go along with the first case in for the CSI experience (free online resource http://forensics.rice.edu/index.html) In this activity, students can explore forensic science by cases they get to experience online with the original CSI cast.
Students will have to create an account on the website, and it is free. The answers has not been included, however, if this becomes a popular resource, I'll add it at some point.
These worksheets are based on the second case on the forensics game located on http://forensics.rice.edu/. It contains a range of questions and activities that students will encounter in the game. It is of an intermediate level, and so I suggest completing the first case: Rookie Training before completing this one.
Worksheet to help students see the importance of following safety expectations and give students awareness of hazards and risky behaviour. The second page is an agreement that the student acknowledges the safety and behaviooural expectation within the science lab. This can be modified to suit your classroom.
