10 Drawer Rolling Cart Labels | FISH DOODLE PATTERN DESIGN I Teacher Trolley

(0)
Keep organized and brighten your room at the same time with these beautiful, brightly colored FISH DOODLE PATTERN trolley labels These labels are created to fit the 1- 12 drawer rolling carts that many teachers use to keep organized. In the US they are available from Michael’s and in Australia they can be bought in Kmart or Spotlight stores. There are two styles, one with rectangular labels, the other to use with those drawers that are angled slightly at the sides. Included in the pack are 3 differerent font styles so that you can use the set that best suits your aged group. The fonts that I have used are included in the pack. If you don’t have them installed on your computer, I have provided a link to the stores should you want to buy them. APL Big Mama APL Heart Eyes AG Taco Tuesday I included some already made labels (These are just the labels that I used and thought I needed), but I have included a set of editable labels in each design. I have also included the fonts that I used in the following slide. HOW TO USE PDF Version: Simply download the file, print using a colored printer, cut and laminate for durability. Printing on cardstock also helps to make them last longer. Attach your signs to the drawers using double sided tape, glue gun or blutak. In some trolley designs, you may need to put a hole in the sign for the drawer knob to be reattached after the sign has been applied. HOW TO EDIT THE POWERPOINT VERSION These made to measure labels are EDITABLE which means you can type in your desired text to suit your individual organisational needs. You will need to have Microsoft Powerpoint installed on your computer to open and edit this file. Once unzipped from the download file, open the PowerPoint and in order to use the same font it must be installed onto your machine. A set of blanks is provided for you to create and entire set using the font of your choice. Simply duplicate the slides and edit the text boxes with your desired fonts and labels. You can bold your font, increase or decrease the size, underline… the freedom is yours. When finished, print the slides that you need, or save all as jpeg files and then print each individually as needed This is for use by one teacher in one classroom. Factors Multiples Prime and Composite Numbers Game - Gremlins and Creatures

(0)
Engage your students in practicing factors, multiples, prime, and composite numbers with this fun card game with engaging characters and bright colors Do your students need support with consolidation and practising their multiplication and factorisation skills? This fun and engaging game is perfect for math centres and as a fast finishing game for your class. This version features some crazy gremlins and creatures which are appealing to a range of age groups. SETTING UP THE CARDS 1.Duplicate the background slide, and print your number cards back to back with the striped background. This is the set of factor cards. 2.Create the Target cards, by printing the targets back to back as you did with the number cards. 3.Laminate the cards for durability- You may choose to print off and laminate the playing mats. HOW TO PLAY For 2-4 players 1.Shuffle the 7 factor cards (numbers 1-12), and deal 7 cards to each player. Place the rest of the deck face down on the table. 2.Shuffle the target cards and turn over the top card revealing the target number. 3.Let’s say the target card is 36, the player to the left of the dealer will look at the cards in their hand and see if any of them are a factor of 36. 4.If that player has a factor they will place it next to the target card, for instance, if it the player has a 4, they will say 9x4=36, and then the play will go to the next person to the left and continue until a player does not have a card that is a factor of the target number. That person then has to pick up ALL of the cards that have already been played. 5.The next player will turn over the next target card from the top of the pile, and play will continue. 6.The winner is the person who manages to get rid of all of the cards in their hand first. 7.Each player MUST say the multiplication face when playing their card. Set of colored and black and white game boards for your classroom kit. Each board game incorporates a spinner which can be used with a paper clip and a thumb tack with numbers 1-6 (If you don’t have dice handy) This has been incredibly popular with my younger students, who have created some fun games using these blank boards. I have used them with mini rubbers as playing pieces and the game rules that even the younger students came up with, were really amazing. I have extended this activity by using it as a literacy task where students have been asked to write a procedural text ie. how to play the game. What you need? How many players? How do you start? What are the rules? How is the winner determined? An affordable and versatile resource for any classroom.

Social Narrative-YOU ONLY NEED TO ASK A QUESTION ONCE-A Social Story

(0)
A Social Narrative is an effective way to teach children how to navigate a new situation, such as starting school or preschool. Social Narratives can help children understand what to expect at school or preschool and they can be used to support orientation, which is particularly useful when children and families are not able to be on-site.  Teaching children how to ask a question only once is a common social skill that needs to be frequently addressed. As educators we always will say things like, “wait’ or “You asked that just a moment ago.”, however we need to explicitly teach these skills. This story can be used to help children to develop skills so that they can learn to function and integrate with other children in the classroom and other social settings.
