I want to make KS2 SATs revision fun. I want it to be something students and teachers really enjoy. I have taken each of the SATs revision tests and combined the original test papers and the original marking schemes into PowerPoints where you ask a question and immediately see the the answer on the next slide. This teaching packs covers KS2 Maths and KS2 SATs SPAG tests (Spag is English grammar, punctuation and spelling Papers)
The idea is that you can now ask a question and all your students show you the answer on their mini-whiteboards and then you discuss the answers together and see what would have got one or two points. As the students can work in pairs or small groups on the questions, they are less stressed and enjoy the whole revision process. In addition, it gives them a chance to learn about other student’s strategies.
This pack could be used in the classroom for whole class teaching, for small groups or at home as a great teaching resource.

The topics covered are wide and varied, starting with Essential English worksheets that address the basics, including the alphabet, days, months, and telling the time. The book then progresses to cover tenses (with a strong emphasis on tenses!), irregular verbs, question forms, word order in sentences, parts of English, uncountable nouns, and much more! If you have used the first BGB, you will know what to expect from this edition. Approximately 25% of the worksheets in this book closely model activities from BGB 1, such as Full Stops 1 & 2 (pp.68-69).

Only towards the end do things become “tougher,” introducing articles, conditionals, and phrasal verbs. However, there’s no need to worry—all the answers and notes for use are included at the back of this book.
English teachers can effectively use Big Grammar Book 2 in the classroom, although it may be more beneficial to assign the worksheets as homework, allowing students to concentrate on speaking, listening, and group work—essentially producing language—during class time. This resource is also ideal for private study, whether for homework or self-study, and is well-suited for use in online lessons. Teachers are encouraged to adapt the worksheets, treating many pages as templates for creating their own activities. However, to get the maximum out of this book, I would highly recommend these worksheets are used to consolidate the learning taking place in the classroom.
Another use of this set of worksheets is additional homework sheets. I have used these sheets very effectively as a way of checking to see if students have read their book and do fully understand what they have read.
I hope you enjoy this book and that your students are inspired to take a more active, more motivated role in their own learning.

I love to work through SATs papers are part of my revision program. These two PowerPoints are designed for whole class interaction. All the students need are some whiteboards. Each question is immediately followed by its answer.
This has lots of motivational and organisational benefits. The first is the students get immediate feedback on their ideas and misconceptions, without needing to wait until the end of a test. It also means different students can explain each of their solving strategies to the class and help everyone become more effective learners.
As the answers are straight after the questions, it is possible to simply use these PowerPoints for 5 minutes a day and still get the full benefit as all the questions are immediately solved. This is also a nice way of tutoring students at home. The tutor can then focus on the areas the students to need to work harder in.
I have created a nice PowerPoint explaining how people commit suicide and how others could help them to choose a different path. There are role plays, movie clips and discussions.

Welcome to the Let’s Write in Gujarati! pack.
There are lots of ways of using this teaching pack. It could be used as writing assessment for students learning Gujarati. The students could write about a topic in Gujarati before starting a unit, and then write again about the topic, using the second worksheet at the end of the topic to see how much they have progressed.
It could also be used as an introduction to guided writing. Students can write sentences as a class and share the sentences together and they can then write them on their own. Alternatively, students could work in pairs - one student dictates to the other what to write down about what they see in the picture.
These pages could also be used to write different stories, using the pictures as a stimulus.
This set of worksheets focuses on how Jack and Granny feel in Jack and the FlumFlum tree. The children examine how granny feels at sending her grandson to get her some medicine, and also two worksheets on how Jack feels. In one, they match the feeling to the story, while in the other, they draw Jack's face at different time and think of a adjective to describe him.
I would love some comments from people who have used this in the classroom.
