This resource contains a dialogue in which a ghost recounts his birth, life and spectacular death, and manages to include the standard list of 13 verbs with être in the passé composé. There is a reflexive verb in the passé composé chucked in for good measure. The dialogue is followed by a capture sheet, upon which the pupils must add examples of the 13 verbs in the passé composé to the given list of infinitives.

Playscript. An unlikely dialogue in which Belletrix Lestrange from Harry Potter and Bella from Twighlight discuss their differing approaches to health and fitness. A disagreement ensues about Voldemort's nose. Having practised and performed the playscript, students could (i) devise a dialogue in which two different fictional characters discuss the issue of health and fitness or (ii) devise a dialogue in which Bella and Belletrix take on a different GCSE topic.

Just add props and an audience. There is also an exercise based on the first scene of the play, in which pupils must reassemble the scene from a jumbled text.
