The first week in a two week unit focusing on the film “The Alchemist’s Letter”. Each lesson provides guided writing opportunities to describe a scene, explore character’s emotions and explain how the machine works using drama and images. This then leads on to a second week (coming soon) where children explore two of the character’s memories, add their own happy memory to the machine and then explore morals before editting and refining.
