Ancient Olympics Quiz - All Ages (Years 3 to Year 11)

(0)
I made this Ancient Olympic Quiz for an Olympic themed week at school. I focuses on the History of the Ancient Olympics. The resource has three parts: Quiz questions for the teacher to read out - PDF Answer sheet for the pupils - PDF Link to an informative video (17 mins long - pictures/voice over) that I made that goes through the answers whilst adding interesting facts/telling the story of the Ancient Olympics. The video has a ‘Hercules’ sing-a-long ‘brain break’ in the middle. - link to mp4 If you didn’t want to play the video, you can always have a listen and learn all the facts to retell to your class! NB: Question 8 mentions about how the olympics were often completed in the nude - it also makes reference in the video to Boris Johnson making a similar comment as PM
