This is a bundle of two holiday season (Thanksgiving and Christmas) reflection and scale factor drawing resource worksheets.
This bundle has;
8 Thanksgiving worksheets, 4 images on 4x4 grids, 4 images on 6x6 (images are leaf, owl sitting on a pumpkin, pilgrim hat and turkey)
16 Christmas worksheets, 8 images on 4x4 grids, 8 images on 6x6 (images are bell, candy cane, gingerbread man, mitten, present, reindeer, stocking and tree)
answer sheets for ALL
Students will learn the need to note carefully looking at what parts of the images are in each box, then reflect and transfer them correctly into the correct boxes in the blank spaces.
This resource does not require an understanding or use of x and y coordinates.

This Thanksgiving themed resource provides an introduction to the concept of rotation around a point.
This is a simple worksheet with a choice of two Thanksgiving images to rotate 4 times around a point. Students have the choice as to how they position their icons for rotation.
This resource contains a recording sheet, 2 sheets of Thanksgiving images (4 per sheet) and a range of possible answers.

The set comprises a coloured PNG and black and white PNG of; one girl, one boy, one female teacher.

This resource is a fun hands-on Thanksgiving activity that uses the binary number system to create mini Thanksgiving images.
The images are; Mayflower ship, Pilgrim hat, nut, pumpkin, apple, roast turkey, piece of pie, maple leaf.
Students will devour these and be wanting more! By then they will have a beginning understanding of the binary number system.
Binary numbers are an essential part of understanding how computing works. Understanding binary numbers is not only learning within the digital curriculum and helping students become 21st Century learners, but they are also a core element of maths knowledge and learning about different counting systems.

Binary Number Grid Puzzles

This is a resource to introduce young students to the world of coding.
Coding is an essential skill in the digital curriculum for 21st Century learners.
Coding is the ability to create instructions that allow a set of actions to be carried out.
This resource gives an opportunity to expose pre-school (and early elementary) students to the world of coding with the format used in the user friendly coding app Scratch Jr.
The resource doesn’t require a device or access to the internet. Students can cut and past the missing pieces of code into a blank box sequence to achieve the desired outcome on the worksheet.
There are two ways this resource can be used;
As a cut and paste worksheet. There are 4 different Thanksgiving themed coding worksheets, with answers.
As a reusable independent learning centre activity. There are 4 activity cards and a set of ‘coding blocks’ to cut out and laminate. These can all be kept in a tray or container and the students can then take the activity and work with it.

A Thanksgiving themed hands on activity for 1st and 2nd grade students. Students work with the concept of a half and a quarter and cut and paste representations of each.
This resource includes;
Teacher instructions, 2 recording sheets, images to cut into fractions, answer sheet examples. The images are; Pumpkin Pie, apples, Fall wreath and pilgrim hats.
Great for follow-up work, consolidation, revision and discussion about simple fractions.
The completed work can also make excellent wall displays of student learning and understanding.

This is an excellent math center activity allowing your students consolidate, practice and maintain their times table knowledge.
This has been designed to allow teachers to print off and make into a booklet.
Alternatively you can print off the individual sheet(s) needed for the intended teaching and learning.
One suggestion for use is to have individual students use this as a booklet that runs over several days, with the student completing a page a day.
