Adapted using symbol sentences for SEND students/students who cannot read independently. Contains 2 powerpoints and around 5-6 worksheets/activities surrounding place value and ordering numbers in a variety of contexts (2 of which include planning cooking times and calculating who wins a race). Number cards can be made and used with clothes lines/pegs to aid in engagement. Originally pitched to 14-18 year old SEND students.

Powerpoint and worksheets adapted with symbols and symbol sentences to support SEND students. Activities and PowerPoint involve ordering days of the week and months of the year. The worksheets also include answering questions about various calenders (e.g. finding events on the calendar and writing their date/time, or recognising if someone is free on a certain day).

Worksheets and PowerPoint adapted with symbol sentences for SEND students. Two PowerPoints recapping halving and quartering with another PowerPoint containing a quiz around finding a third, fifth or tenth of shapes. Worksheets (8-10 in total) contain activities encouraging students to find the fractions of shapes and of arrays.

PowerPoint and over 6 activities targeted at recognising coins and counting amounts to 10p , 20p all the way up to amounts with decimal points. There are also opportunities to match these to items in shops. Deeper questioning activities are also included (Open questions, why do you think that? etc.). Resources have been adapted to include symbols to aid students with moderate learning needs, or those that struggle to read independently. Folder included with 4 lessons on advanced work surrounding budgeting for a family of four towards eventually planning a sale of pizzas made by the class.

Has been pitched to a variety of SEND students aged 7-18.
