Present tense: -AR, -ER, -IR conjugation with sentence practice
For each verb type, students will re-write each sentence in the template provided by writing the subject (person), stem of the verb, appropriate verb ending, and the rest of the sentence. (A structured template is provided).
Note: Only regular -ar, -er, -ir verbs are used. All sentences are short, as shown in the example below.
This practice is ideal for students in Spanish 1.
A table with -ar, -er, -ir present tense endings is included for reference.
There are 30 sentences total (10- ar, 10-er,10 -ir).

Practice: Doler with present subjunctive
Luis Mazo is a doctor who has been invited by his local radio station. He has been given 10 minutes of airtime. Patients from his town can call and seek his advice for their health issues. Complete each response by using the present tense of the introductory verb from column A and an appropriate response from column B. Note: In column A, the verb must be conjugated in the present tense, and in column B the verb must be conjugated in the present subjunctive.
There are 10 situations total.
Example:
Column A: Querer, Pedir (use verbs in any order)

For each infinitive, write the appropriate affirmative and negative command forms. Then, add 3-4 words to create a short original sentence. Note: Your sentences should not be repetitive (Using the same words over and over).

Preterit v imperfect quick practice
