Different ability tasks for different students to work through as a team and uncover an answer to the question above.

Students learn about the key aspects of the Roman Army, including information given and a chance to do research online.
Students need to focus on the statement ‘why was the roman army so successful’.
Opportunities for engagement by relating the army to a football team.
A full lesson with videos and activities for students complete.

Students will then learn from each other and assess what the Romans brought to the world.
A very detailed resource, covering at least 3-4 lessons focusing on William and his problems, how he overcame them and how to managed to conquer England.
Starts with source evaluation
Then moves onto a game where the students put themselves in the shoes of William and makes decisions that give them a score.
Then looks at some reading and more sources (included and attached)
Then asks students to act as an advisor and write William a letter (Structure included for less able)
Finally, task 4 asks students to work in groups to produce a documentary about William’s early takeover of England, October-December 1066 (up to and including his coronation on Christmas Day)

The roaring 20s, the economic boom, Ford and the Model T car, exclusions from the boom including farmers.
A full lesson or so focusing on the Korean War. A great resource for all KS4 students (may be more suitable for lower level KS5 students too) but here is being used as part of my Cold War topic - I have other resources connected. Suitable for both British curriculum and the international curriculum. GCSE/ IGCSE/ A Level/ IB.
Attached is a great learning resource - very straight forward and easy to use. Can be used for any exam and as a fantastic supplement to whichever textbook you are using.

36 resources (word/pdf/pp) so can be changed by yourself, for whole SOW. Events throughout history including plague, titanic, moon landing, 9/11, olympic games, tsunami, link to films to watch and assessments. we use this for year 7 but can be adapted for any ks3 class.
