For some reason the previews made it look wrong! But when you download, you can easily change font for front cover depending on which you prefer to use.
I print these as a booklet, for when children to do when they come in before register. These are aimed at the children who need constant revision of the basics, while the others get on with something more challenging. 2 weeks are included and they can then be easily adapted as the children progress:
Booklet 1 contains…
Front cover - they need to practise the day of the week and also their name (you will just need to delete ‘name’)
Monday - Letter formation and fine motor control
Tuesday - Numeral formation and fine motor control
Wednesday - Basic maths (accurate counting) and fine motor control
Thursday - CVC words and fine motor control
Friday - Basic maths (adding) and fine motor control
Booklet 2 contains the same fine motor control, but slightly different activities.
These are great time-savers and can also be adapted for whole class.
Lesson plan with 5 individual lessons on Charles Dickens - plan includes links to video clips etc.
There is a corresponding Powerpoint document that is very easy to work through.
Also included are all the resources for each lesson - all you need to do is print!
I used this as an introductory unit for Year 6 - covers aspects such as Who is Dickens?/odes/interview with Charles Dickens/extracts from Oliver Twist/Dickensian language in Hard Times. Lots of performance opportunities!
Word document with 8 lessons on Shakespeare - these could easily cover more lessons as 1 is a biography and 1 is sonnet writing.
Lessons cover - Who is Shakespeare?/Shakespearean language/performance poetry/rhyming couplets/sonnet writing etc
Easy to follow Powerpoint covering the whole unit with video links etc
Resources also included for each lesson. I used this for Year 6 - but would probably work for Year 7 too.
This is a complete lesson package. All you need to do is print!
Year 6 (could be adapted for Year 5) - Complete planning document for 19 lessons based on There’s a Boy in the Girls Bathroom by Louis Sachar. Lessons include text analysis, character analysis, pre-teaching vocabulary, Hot Seating, Diary writing, role-play, play script and lots more.
Also a fully detailed PowerPoint with 19 step by step lessons that you can ‘walk though’ step by step - just click and teach!

I get these printed as a booklet with the print layout set as ‘notes pages’ - this then sets the work on the top half of the page with space below for working out/writing etc. These are lifesavers! I print off booklets at the beginning of each half-term and that is their morning work to do as soon as they come in.
There are 6 booklets in total:
Aut1 7 weeks of daily work
Aut2 6 weeks of daily work
Spr1 6 weeks of daily work
Spr2 6 weeks of daily work
Sum1 6 weeks of daily work
Sum2 6 weeks of daily work
Again, you will need to adapt depending on the length of each half term.
