It allows students to understand why IWD is so important and introduces some of the issues that women face in today’s society as well as over history.
This is suitable for Upper KS2-KS5 (Ages 10-18, Years 5-13) and can be used as an assembly or tutor time resource. It was originally a Year 7 tutor time PSHE session but is suitable for a wider audience.

This is a PowerPoint with different moral questions to make students think. For example, “if you borrow a million pounds are you a millionaire?”, “Can you get lost if you don’t know where you are going.” These are great discussion questions for assemblies, debates or citizenship/PSHE/SMSC provision. They will improve communication skills in tutor time sessions or as starters to lessons. They are appropriate for KS3, KS4 and KS5 (11-18 years old).

This is a 15 minute tutor time PSHE session about budgeting. It was originally designed for a Year 7 PSHE tutor time session but it can be used as an assembly or easily lengthened for a whole lesson. It is suitable for Ages 11-16 (Years 7-11, KS3-KS4, Grades 6-10).

It was originally a PSHE tutor time Year 9 session and was received very well by both students and teachers. It fits well into the new RSE and Health Curriculum, the PSHE and Citizenship curriculum or a whole school equality agenda.

This is a 10-15 minute assembly for Remembrance Day suitable for all year groups from Year 5 - Year 13 (KS2, KS3, KS4, KS5, Ages 9-18) and can be used for an assembly, tutor time session, whole school, PSHE or Citizenship session. It can easily be lengthened by changing the discussion activities to written ones for it to last a whole lesson. There are two short youtube clips downloaded so they will never disappear. It is narrated but you can delete this by clicking on the icon and pressing delete. It covers what remembrance day is, why it is observed, why people wear poppies and why we have a two minute silence. It also shows the connection with a slide on Fundamental British Values, the UN Rights of a Child and a point of Reflection. This was originally a citizenship tutor time session to take place on 11th November 2021. 100% of the money you pay will go to the Royal British Legion.

There are discussion questions and quotes to aid discussion and these can be turned into written activities if you want to make this session last a whole lesson. There are two downloaded video clips that will never disappear and it is narrated although you can delete this by just deleting the icon on each slide if you would prefer. This session contributes to ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ and the new Relationships & Sexual Education and Health Education. It also highlights safeguarding, British values and can be used as part of the PSHE curriculum. It can easily be adapted if needed but covers all the necessary guidance. Pupils have responded very well to this presentation in the past and I have updated it for this year.
This is a 15 minute assembly about positive relationships. It can be used as part of tutor time, a whole school assembly for 11-18 year olds or as part of a lesson or on an online learning platform. This can be used for PSHE, Citizenship, SMSC, Tutor Time, Assemblies, Whole School days, Online Platforms and teaches the students how to have positive relationships in their lives. It talks about prejudice, discrimination, bullying and aims to teach students how to have positive relationships. Students responded really well to this whole school assembly.
This is a 15-20 minute assembly, PSHE or tutor time session covering what the Prevent strategy is. It includes some videos and discussion points around Prevent and information about how to spot signs of radicalisation. This was originally delivered to KS3 and KS4 but could also be suitable for KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13). There are no written tasks in this presentation, it is an overview of these topics in line with the PSHE and Citizenship curriculum, SMSC and Fundamental British Values. It could also be used in an assembly or whole school setting as a quick reminder of Prevent and Radicalisation. It can be lengthened or shortened depending on the timing of the session. This is an assembly on organisation and routine. It could be used in tutor time or as part of a PSHE or Citizenship lesson to explain the importance of being organised at school and having a good routine. It is based on discussion activities and does not contain any written tasks. This assembly lasts about 15 minutes with discussion.
This is a 15 minute assembly or tutor time session about anxiety. It explores ways to help someone suffering with anxiety and how to deal with a panic attack. It incorporates two youtube clips and has a discussion focus. There are no written tasks to complete. This is suitable for KS3, KS4 and KS5 to give them a quick overview of what anxiety is and how we can support people with mental health issues. This could be used as part of the new RSE & Health Curriculum or as part of a standalone session on mental health, PSHE or tutor time resource.
This is a 15-20 minute tutor time PSHE session on charity volunteering. It can be used as a whole school assembly for KS3, KS4 and KS5 (Ages 11-18, Grade 6-12, Years 7-13). It does not have any written tasks just two downloaded video clips that will never disappear and discussion questions so students can find out what they can volunteer for and why they would benefit from voluntary work. This can be lengthened or shortened to fit a tutor time, assembly or a lesson for PSHE, Citizenship, Fundamental British Values, SMSC and Character Education.
Students reacted very well to this presentation and many positive discussions were had as a result.

This PowerPoint assembly is fully narrated and covers some guidance for KS3-KS5 pupils about respecting their local community. This is particularly relevant for July 2021 as it goes through the easing of the lockdown restrictions in the UK. It can also be used as a more general tutor time session for PSHE on how to show respect and be kind to others. It includes two videos and two discussion questions at the end. It is 12 minutes in length as a narrated PPoint and then it leaves a few minutes to discuss how they think they can help the local community in the lead up to the Euros, the easing of restrictions and the summer holidays.
This is a 15 minute assembly about veganism. It includes definitions, discussion activities and information about the advantages of a vegan diet on the environment and our lives. It has a downloaded video which will never disappear and ends with a thinking task for pupils. It is suitable for KS4-KS5 (Ages 14-18, Years 10-13) and can be easily lengthened to be suitable for a whole lesson if needed. This fits into the new RSHE curriculum and the PSHE curriculum and was originally a tutor time PSHE session for Year 11.
This is a 15 minute assembly or PSHE resource which can be used for KS3, KS4 and KS5 (Years 7-13, Ages 11-18). It is centred around the use of nitrous oxide or laughing gas. It teaches pupils about the physical and mental effects of the social drug and the dangers of taking it. It includes two short clips (downloaded so they never disappear) about the dangers of taking nitrous oxide, a few newspaper quotes and then it finishes with a true or false quiz as a plenary. Students from all year groups responded well to this session which can be shortened or lengthened if needed.
This is a 15 minute PSHE session or assembly for KS3, KS4 and KS5. It was originally used as a tutor time KS3 PSHE session. It teaches students the correct behaviour in lessons and how to manage their own behaviour. It has discussion questions linking to the low level disruption comments from Ofsted and gets students to consider zero-tolerance school policies and the effects of poor behaviour on learning. It also covers why students should not disrupt lessons and discusses a variety of questions about behaviour in lessons. This can be shortened or lengthened if you need it for a whole lesson or as just part of an assembly. I has a downloaded video clip that will never disappear! Students responded really well to this session.
