This is a 15-20 minute presentation to teach students about how to master self-disciple. It gives practical tips, definitions and has a 9 minute video with discussion tasks which is downloaded so it will never disappear! It has no written tasks as it was originally a PSHE session for tutor time for KS3. It is also relevant for KS4 & KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13) and was received well by many students. It covers the Key Skill Curriculum, the new RSE & Health Curriculum, Character Education, PSHE, Citizenship and can be used as an assembly.

There is some more information and discussion activities. It was originally a PSHE tutor time session for Year 8 and does not have any written tasks. It can be used for KS3, KS4 and KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13) and forms part of the Keeping Safe in Education Safeguarding guidance, the new RSE & Health Curriculum and the current PSHE and Citizenship criteria. This is a 60-90 minute narrated lesson about religious views on protest. It includes some downloaded video clips which will never disappear. It includes different religious quotes about protest and has activities based on Martin Niemoller’s poem, ‘Then they came for me’ and the question of whether we should protest for others. It explores how the Golden Rule of all religions can be used for views on protest and goes through how to answer a 12 mark GCSE answer on this topic - "Religious people should always protest about important issues. It includes discussion and written activities and is fully narrated. You can easily delete the icon on each slide if you do not want it narrated or want to change some of the more specific slides for homework etc. This was originally an a lesson for Year 9 in the topic of ‘Protest’ in Religious Education but is suitable for all secondary school pupils (Ages 11-18 KS3, KS4 and KS5). It can also be linked with the new RSHE curriculum, the PSHE curriculum or a whole school tutor time resource.

This is a fully resourced lesson about how Martin Luther King’s Christian beliefs influenced his actions. It has an excellent starter sheet, carousel activity, discussion tasks, written tasks and an interactive plenary. It goes through the influence of the Bible, group prayer, being a pastor, non-violent protest & Jesus. It includes information on Civil Rights but its focus is on Martin Luther King’s Christian faith. This pack includes everything you need for this lesson which has been graded Outstanding by Ofsted and included in a Summary report for a secondary school. It has a full lesson plan, differentiated questions, a powerpoint, worksheets and an interactive powerpoint plenary. This plenary can also be adapted and used for other lessons. Buy this and have one lesson for Ofsted totally planned and resourced for you. This lesson is suitable for KS2, KS3 or KS4 (Ages 7-16). It is suitable for all year groups from Year 6 - Year 13 (KS2, KS3, KS4, KS5, Ages 10-18) and can be used for an assembly, tutor time session, whole school, PSHE or Citizenship session. It can easily be lengthened by changing the discussion activities to written ones for it to last a whole lesson. There is one youtube clip which is downloaded so it will never disappear. This is useful for pastoral leaders, PSHE leads, SLT or anyone that is putting together an assembly rota, bulletin, calendar or diary for the academic year starting September 2023. It includes cultural, religious, personal, health and social awareness days and has been triple checked for accuracy. I have pulled together all of the dates so you won’t find a more comprehensive diary anywhere. This will be a document that is updated as more dates are added next year or there are any changes. It has one slide that is specific to Birmingham but this can be altered or still used outside the city.
