(I adapted this from a similar resource on TES for another topic). Put pupils in groups and give them a copy of the animals sheet. Tell them which team they are in and send one person from each team to the descriptions sheet pinned up a little distance away/outside the classroom. The pupils must then colour their sheet to match the descriptions. We did this with low ability and EAL year 7 and it worked very well.
Very basic presentation with Winter vocabulary in French. This also practises colours and numbers. Slides at end can be printed off as flashcards. Two slides are intended to be used as a worksheet (basic copying and colouring).
Print the resources, arrange them on different tables. Put students into groups and rotate them around each activity. A leader reads instructions. You need mini whiteboards for the Quiz.
This worked well with my students. Fill in the 'I can&' statements at the start of the lesson to find strongest/weakest areas, do the carousel, then the statements again for what they need to revise. I allowed approx 10 minutes per activity. The activities are differentiated (indicated by increasing challenge: *, ** and ***).
Introduction to school subjects in Spanish, with flashcards. Includes slides to be printed and used as a worksheet. (Arabic is included as I'm in an international school where it&'s a core subject).
I made these to go with other resources on Spring already uploaded (by Henriette). The presentation introduces Spring vocab and the worksheet has some simple exercises to practise.
Two lessons - introduces countries from Mira 1 Module 4 (lesson 1) and practises -ir verbs, concentrating on 'vivir' (lesson 2). Includes differentiated activities and slides to print as written exercises.
