I created this simple split diagraphs knowledge organiser to use in class or at home, hopefully someone else will also find this useful too!

A lovely lesson plan that could be used over a few lessons to teach children how to write to persuade! This lesson plan is based on promoting a summer fair at a school I was working at and it is designed to easily be personalised to any school.

A basic powerpoint with a link to the Three Billy Goat’s Gruff story and the features we need to include for retelling a story with a beginning, middle, end, with characters and a setting description. A story map template is included as part of this resource. A really lovely lesson for Year 1 or Year 2.

This resource pack contains one lesson on the 7 Continents and one lesson on the 5 Oceans, including video links to some exciting and catchy songs to learn them in size order! These lessons are simple and so much fun and are certainly the most memorable Geography lessons I have taught! The activity sheets for the continent activities are also included, there are three differentiated approaches to drawing the continents and labelling them, or adding labels to an already drawn map. The pack also includes an end of unit quiz to evidence learning, and video links for the lesson.

The Magic Box by Kit Wright is an amazing poem for inspiring children to be inventive and creative with their vocabulary! This resource includes a lesson powerpoint, Kit Wright’s poem illustrated with images which can be printed off for the children to use, plus a spider diagram the children can use to plan their ideas before writing their own poem. I have taught this lesson on numerous occassions and had amazing successful outcomes for all children.
