Through the week you should collect work for each child, either their suggestion or yours. This display is used to designate job roles in the classroom. The bees are used to display the pupil’s names and they can be placed onto the flower that shows the job they will be responsible for. This set of lesson aims to give the children ownership of their learning and understand the process behind their learning. To use this activity, the children will go into partners and write on the sign up sheet, allocating them a date for their clinic. Once they have their date and time, the children use the plan to plan their lesson, much like a teacher plans all their lessons. The children have their clinics checked by the teacher. Once their clinic is planned, they then teach it. After the clinic the children that have been taught complete an evaluation, much like an observer, and the pupils have a chance to reflect on their lesson and edit or improve the next term.

These warning cards are given to the pupils before using the behaviour displays or management you use in your classroom. The back of the card offers the children a chance to think about their behaviour and understand why they have been given a warning card. If their behaviour continues then the children will understand the consequences.
