Following on from My Little Christmas Grammar Book which was very successful I have created My Little Winter Grammar Workbook. This has similar writing activities to the Christmas one involving Nouns, Proper Nouns, Collective Nouns, Adjectives, Verbs, Adverbs, descriptive writing and sentence construction. There are a few drawing activities, a comparison between summer and winter and the children have to write the life cycle of a tree through the seasons. Another original short story written by me in a child friendly vocabulary set in 1895, Jayne, the young lady of the house is attending a ball in the manor and waiting patiently for a young suiter to appear. There are various characters in the story and this could be used as an introduction to a long novel, Shakespearian or Dickensian literature in preparation for Grammar/ Secondary school.
