Hello, please find attached: 52 Weeks of Story Starters / Picture Prompts / Fantasy World Images For English i.e. Poetry or Art! The attached files consist of a full year’s worth (52 separate slides) of fantasy like images that can be used as story starters with your class. Each slide has 4 different images (so you can project all four and the children choose one to write about). This is a total of 208 (52 weeks x 4 on a page) amazing images that you have ownership of and can use however you wish for your students. For each one image they choose they could also: Write a one paragraph story starter. Write a poem using the 5 senses. Recreate the image using a specific medium in art. Write 5 associated adjectives / adverbs / nouns Tell their partner what happens next in the story. I do create bespoke computer generated art for specific tasks too so please send me a message request for this and I can help you. Please look at my shop, The Bearded Teacher.

25 AMAZING Story Openings / Starters with Realistic Images for English Creative Writing and Artwork. Ofsted outstanding lesson observation… Students chose a stry starter (I printed the PDF 4 to a page and the children stuck in their books) and they continued the story. You could also simply show one per week on the IWB. These are also great to print, laminate and make a display for English / Reading areas titled ‘Story Starters’. Please find attached a resource to promote reading: ERIC - Everyone Reading In Class (Reading resource poster and door sign). At my school I printed and laminated the sign for the door and I have the other rules image on display. I normally play music on youtube (the link for this is attached). We also light candles and lower the lights and the children thoroughly enjoy reading for 15 minutes or so in this lovely environment! Thanks for looking, The Bearded Teacher.

Harry Potter - 10 x Coloring Sheets / Colouring Pages Activity - Printable A4 Mindfulness Worksheets

Harry Potter - 10 x Coloring Sheets / Colouring Pages Activity - Printable A4 Mindfulness Worksheets. The PDF file is ready to print on A4 (you could also select multiple to a page so children have a small set each which they can print and write about / annotate in their exercise books.) I like to print ‘two to a page’ which gives them an A5, smaller version. These make a great classroom display for your reading area / topic area in class, especially if you click ‘print to A3’. They’re also good if you print them smaller (i.e. 6 to a page) so that the students can then annotate them i.e. writing specific descriptions next to the pictures. I have lots more colouring sheets in my shop. Thanks for looking at our resources.

Story Writing Template with Story Starter Prompt for Handwriting / Scaffold, Practice Neat Writing

Story Writing Template with Story Starter Prompt for Handwriting / Scaffold, Practice Neat Writing. Attached is the Powerpoint and the Pdf version. There are 10 different pages for you to print off for the children to write sentences about the picture / write a story starter using their beautiful handwriting! Model this first by printing one page on A3 and showing the children the correct writing technique in front of the class. This size also helps children with SEN writing needs. You could also print ‘2 to a page’ so the children have a smaller template (this works really well for children who already have beautiful handwriting). Good English lesson starter!
