Alphabet Letters Laminated Mats, Letter A a Playdough, writing, reading EYFS, Early Years, Grade 1. I have attached the alphabet mat for the letter A / a. Students have 6 different tasks to complete as follows: Trace the dotted letters with a pencil carefully. Create the letters using playdough (if not using playdoug they can colour instead). Find the upper and lower case versions of the letter. Colour in the images that begin with this letter. Read the words to another pupil / adult who then ticks the words. Finally, they must write the upper and lower case versions of the letter to complete the story! This is a great resource that keeps the children engaged for a long time. Many designs have direct quotes from the book i.e: “I will not forget you, Charlotte. I will carry you in my heart.” “You have been my friend. Bug Club Reading Bookmarks (help children remember their usernames and passwords) Includes Editable Reading Quotes. The attached file has a class set of 30 editable Bug Club Bookmarks. All you need to do is: Edit each slide with your class’ credentials. Print in colour (It is already set to A4). Cut them out. Fold them along the line in the centre (so they’re double sided).
