Three lessons that cover the population section of the AQA Geography Economic World Section. Lessons cover the DTM, population pyramids and migration into Europe.
An introductory lesson to the topic of glaciation. It investigates the extent of ice coverage during the last ice age and the evidence in the landscape of glaciation. An enquiry approach is taken but the main activity is a more practical map based task which asks students to locate key evidence for past glaciation on an outline map of the British Isles. The Oxford and Hodder books are referenced but an atlas would work just as well.
A lesson covering the One Child Policy. It makes reference to the older Oxford textbook. The history, development and impacts of the policy are covered. It updates the textbook information and includes the repeal of the policy in 2015.
