A single sided worksheet to guide students through the use of standard deviation when analysing and comparing data. It does not go over the calculation. Markscheme included

Copy up the pack and sort using different coloured paper for each team - they have to chack their answers are correct before they progress onto the next question, providing you an excellent opportunity for AfL. Cut and Stick activity and associated comprehension tasks, along with a projectable markscheme (PPT file). The cut and stick covers both stages of meiosis and genetic recombination, and provides a nice 20-30 minute activity that has proven to be an effective AfL task with my own classes, which was well received.
