This lesson focuses on Viking migration and traces them from raiders to invaders. This lesson continues the theme of ‘who held the power in Nazi Germany?’ It focuses on the role of the German army and Hitler’s dependence on its support; the conflict with traditional conservatives; and the plan to kill Hitler (the Kreisau Circle). All activities are built into the power point. Students are expected to reach a conclusion on the significance of the army, and how far Hitler could depend on its support.
