This bundle contain all 17 lessons suitable for teaching either an A Level Breadth Study or a Depth Study on the Reign of Elizabeth I. Each lesson would take approximately 2 hours to deliver and are fully resourced. Any A Level approved textbook would be useful to compliment the lessons. They contain a range of challenging activities and opportunity for students to practice the examination skills essential for success at A Level. Lesson 15 is a free resource that can be downloaded to enable teachers to preview the style of the lessons. This unit is also fully suitable to teach higher attaining GCSE students who are studying Elizabeth I and aiming for Level 9. Total Duration: Approx 34 hours

These lessons focus on the fall of the Weimar Republic and the rise to power of Hitler and the Nazis. They each take an hour to teach (lesson 21 takes 2 hours), and although a text book is desirable it is not essential. Activities are included within the power point.

VE Day on May 8th. It is suitable for primary and secondary school and contains: An assembly/lesson - the first part of the ppt is an assembly containing images/clips/explanations about the significance of VE day and the aftermath of the war (approx 20 mins). If it is used as a lesson there are tasks incorporated in the 2nd part of the presentation to support building on writing evaluative answers (in this case weighing up the consequences of the aftermath of the Second World War). The lesson will take approximately an hour to teach, but students may need time to complete the work for homework. A VE Day Quiz and discussion opportunity - useful for a tutorial or a history lesson. The quiz is on a ppt - so can be delivered to the whole class at the samr time - it is followed up with a discussion about VE Day. VE Day timeline - this timeline contains 20 key events of 1945 leading to victory in Europe. Each event is on a separate sheet and contains an explanation and a colourful image - will need space for 20 sheets of A4 to go around the classroom. VE Day wordsearch/quiz - can be used as a starter or an extension activity. An alternative lesson - was Dresden justified or was it a war crime? Using sources and extended writing.

It includes readings; videos and essay writing plans and activities. It introduces the concept of an industrial revolution and links it to the key changes that occurred during the Industrial Revolution in Britain. Students have to find a definition and track change over 140 years, by identifying and categorising the various changes. No text book is needed.
