A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Senior Leadership Team at KEGS.

We are looking to appoint a well-qualified, experienced professional to play a key strategic role in the operation of our school.

The Position:

The Chief Financial Officer will provide considered financial advice to ensure proper financial conduct and long-term financial stability of the school. They will have responsibility for the school’s financial management, liaising closely with the School Business Manager and Finance Team to provide advice and guidance and give and receive information to enable strategic and operational good practice. The school has a welcoming and collaborative working environment, and an excellent sense of community. It is in a strong financial position.

About King Edward VI Grammar School

King Edward VI Grammar School, Chelmsford (known as KEGS locally) is a Leading Edge School, constantly testing and adapting professional practice to raise standards of teaching and learning. It is consistently one of the top ten grammar schools in the country and lends itself to being a natural leader with an international reputation as a centre of learning.
