An exciting opportunity has arisen to manage our Finance team from November 2024. This senior position demands strong organisational skills and an ability to prioritise workloads as well as the ability to maintain a sense of calm in a busy school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the school finances through budgeting, monitoring expenditure, managing payroll, fee billing and cash management. You will also be responsible for ensuring the school is compliant with the requirements of HMRC with VAT and PAYE returns. You will have a professional accounting qualification with experience of managing a small team, ideally within a school environment.

The facilities are excellent and the most recent additions include a magnificent sports hall, art and DT dept and a dedicated theatre.
The School site covers 50 acres and is located in Wensleydale, just outside Newton le Willows, Nr Bedale in North Yorkshire. It is 10 minutes from the A1 and set amidst the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside.
