We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Operations Manager to join our Trust. This post can be a full-time or part-time position (if arrangements are mutually agreeable).

The ideal candidate will have the knowledge or experience related to a range of areas of corporate / business operational management. These may include policy compliance, health and safety, HR, estates and facilities management, procurement, amongst other areas. This is an exciting and dynamic role that will allow the post-holder to be involved and/or be exposed to a range of areas and opportunities. The detailed areas of responsibility would be mutually agreed and can vary depending on the evolving opportunities. Candidates need not have all of the skills/experience described above, but should have some of the relevant experience or skills-set that would enable them to develop their role.
The candidate will have a hands-on work ethic, a fast learner, willing to learn and to take on novel responsibilities to ensure efficiency in a range of operational matters.

About Platanos College
Platanos College is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school without sixth form situated in South London. It is an academy state school supported by the Platanos Trust, a multi-academy trust set up with the intention of raising standards and preparing students for the challenges of the 21st century. The school will provide 1,000 places for secondary pupils aged 11-19, when fully subscribed.
An academy converter, Platanos College reopened in February 2011. It was the first school in the Platanos Trust.
