We are seeking to appoint a Senior Cover Supervisor to start as soon as possible, to undertake the supervision of classes in the absence of teachers, provide support for teaching staff and after college clubs and covering as Learning Mentor/Teaching Assistant when required.
This person will contribute to the positive ethos of the College and must demonstrate the following attributes: -
- An ability to work on their own initiative
- Educated to GCSE level with proficiency in Maths and English
- Experience of working in a school environment
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Experience in a teaching/learning/child support working environment
- Good communication skills and an ability to clarify and explain instructions clearly
- Well-developed interpersonal skills

About Swanmore College
Swanmore College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11-16 comprehensive secondary school, situated in a rural location approximately 13 miles south of Winchester, Hampshire. There are currently 1,200 pupils on the school roll.
The secondary school is part of the Eastleigh Consortium, which is an association of 14 local schools and colleges. The aim of the consortium is to encourage the sharing of ideas and materials that have been produced by staff.
