A PPT to introduce students to the format of the 24 mark photo based task in the new GCSE speaking exam. Set phrases are suggested for each section to ensure students give an accurate, appropriate and varied response. This worked wonders with my year 11s this year who nearly all use the correct tense in each bullet point and had relevant responses!

Ideal for year 7-11 to ensure they have an accurate and sufficiently complex structure to follow in the written exam. Numerous practice tasks used to consolidate learning.

A speaking mat to help students use the IPALMS system (introduced on a separate resource) in more detail and with more variation. Ideal as a supplement once students are comfortable with applying IPALMS to describe an image for the new GCSE. Can be printed as a reference point or printed in colour and laminated for multiple classes to use.

A selection of verbs that can be transfered to all of the themes that are part of the new French GCSE.

I used the idea of Victoria Beckham (VB) who was famous so used to be followed by paparazzi (PAP) due to her fame (FAME). I also used a special spelling of Rap (RAAP) for the special* verbs which all have suis as their special auxiliary.

PPT with revision of multiculturalism from previous week and some stats / ideas about the rise of the Front National / Rassemblement National in France. The passive slides ARE NOT MY WORK and are taken from TES. A fabulous resource that I have used before with A level and it works really well, thank you to the author.

This will not be perfect but is hopefully a starting point for Alevel French teachers!

A Who wants to be a millionaire - adapted from a resource fond on TES, thanks, adapted for Studio 1 module 2 - Mon collège. used as a revision activity / afl.
PPT and activities to go with pages 80-83 of the activity book.
For the starter I printed out page 80, used tip ex to cover the key terms and printed out the mixed up terms then stuck then on the side for students to use.
The argument map activity had the options cut up in envelopes around the room, students then open the envelopes, read the option and stick it to their copy of the blank argument map.
