A display poster guiding pupils to become more independent during tasks like big writes etc.
Alert pupils (and have on display) the following steps…
- Ask yourself - have they followed the instructions?
- Have a look - have they used the resources available around the room?
- Ask a friend - could a buddy on their table help them?
- Finally, ask a teacher!
This should encourage independence and the use of resources, could save them a lot of time and give them a new perspective too! Enjoy :)
