I used this excellent set of ideas with my Y10 Business/GCSE class. Drawing the graph using GDP data enthralled the whole class (it's the only time I've seen them work silently for 15 minutes). They were surprised that the outcome wasn't smooth curves but they learnt that the business cycle is not governed by time but through consumption. I may use this again with my A Level Economists.
