Companion for the Basics / introduction to studying A level Sociology

I created this guide over the summer to provide students of A level with the foundational knowledge of sociology. It would benefit new teachers of sociology, parents and carers, students, ITT’s and departments for CPD.

Many students start the A level with no prior knowledge of the topic and often say they picked it because ‘it sounded interesting’. Underestimating the depths of the course and the heaviness of the theoretical views.

It includes everything you must know before you embark on the topics of the A level specification. I have included activities where possible and written this in the most student friendly way.

I was inspired by many authors and writers but have created this book from scratch.
