Hi Emily, thanks for your comment. Nieva refers to "It snows" or "it's snowing", from the verb "nevar" rather than just the noun "snow".

This is a great little Powerpoint for introducing the weather, thank you. A minor quip: Snow in Spanish is nieve not nieva, but a great PowerPoint all the same.
