Created for the European Day of Languages. Pupils work in teams of 4. They watch clips of about a minute of songs from Eurovision Song Contest and try to work out which country the singer(s) are representing. Also included a handout of the possible countries and an answer sheet.

Great ideas, but the links to the clips no longer work so I was unable to use it.

Thanks for the review :) unfortunately it is a few years old now and I haven’t had time to update any of the links, so for anyone else out there, have a quick click through beforehand to see which ones are working and which ones aren’t!

hi, your presentation looks great but I am having a problem with the clips which do not play any music and disappear when i save your presentation. Should the clips play any music or are they just images? if they should play music would you be able to send me an unprotected version if it please? Many thanks , you are a life saver!!!

Sorry for taking so long to reply to this. The clips should play on the PowerPoint, and it is unprotected - when you download things Microsoft protect things automatically so it should be something you can unprotect from your end (though I could be wrong, I’m not an expert). I think I might still have a Microsoft word sheet with the links on it, I’ll have a look and if I do have it then I’ll post it on her
