A class activity where students in groups practically 'produce' cars using the 3 types of production methods, Batch, Job and Flow production. The activity has questions after for comparisons which then help with identifying suitability of methods for different products and the advantages and disadvantages of both. Not bad. This could be a more sophisticated, with the use of some form of financial measure of performance, with the cost and revenue of operations being measured. More simplistic than the dice simulation that is available free. The simplicity of the operation (cut, colour) would also mean that this could be a little tedious. Sorry!
