Guided Writing

Inspired by a teacher on twitter this is my version of his guided writing grid that he has created. It can be used in a variety of ways and edited to suit the questions that you are asking your students to write about.

The idea is that they are given the sheet before trying to complete the writing task and come up with possible vocab that they could link together to form a sentence. Similarly, I used it to boost the confidence of my class who had just completed a writing task without a dictionary. They used their writing and had to find the information from their work and put it in the grid, then added additional phrases for future use.
