I was asked to put together a presentation for staff to explain the importance of higher level questioning and give some examples of approaches and activities to encourage it. The powerpoint does just that! This was followed up with further training sessions and now I lead a SWG for stretch and challenge.

Additionally, the slides contained structured questions relevant to the subject, within the Academy I teach at, all subject areas produced a specific one. The idea being that students get more used to higher order questioning and encourages better peer questioning, teachers have a visual aid - often useful if being observed.
