Irregular preterit practice (questions and conjugation)

Verbs included: hacer, venir, querer, andar, estar, saber, poner, poder, tener, decir, traer, conducir (12 total)

Part 1: Complete each question using the following guidelines

1. Write the ending of the verb conjugation for the subject of the question and the subject of the answer. Note: All questions are in the tú conjugation.

2. In the last blank add 3-4 words to answer the question in a complete sentence.

Example:

1. Hacer: to do / to make

¿Qué hic _____ tú ayer?

Yo hic ____ + ________________________________

Part 2: Write the correct conjugations of the 12 verbs above for the el, ella, Ud, nosotros, vosotros, and ellos, ellas, Uds forms. A verb table is provided.

For part 1, a partial answer key is included with verb conjugations only, as student answers will vary. For part 2, answer key is included with all verb conjugations.

Pages 1-3 are the practice and pages 4-6 are the answer key.
