Irregular preterit quick review practice

This is a quick review practice of irregular verbs in the preterit.

Verbs included: hacer, querer, venir, andar, estar, saber, tener, poder, poner, conducir, decir, traer (12 total)

Notes on meaning of the irregular verbs, irregular stems, and verb endings are included.

Part 1: Write the correct preterit conjugation (9 total / I and U stem verbs included)

Ex: Hacer (Yo): _______________

Part 2: Conjugate 3 verbs for all 6 persons in the preterit

Part 3: J stem verbs / Conjugate 3 verbs for all 6 persons in the preterit

Part 4: Complete each sentence in an original manner by using a different verb in the preterit from this worksheet. Add 3-4 words after the conjugated verb. Sentence must make sense.

Ex: Ayer yo ____________

This practice can be used for classwork, study guide, or a short quiz.

Answer key is included (pages 3-4), except for part 4, as student answers will vary.
