This unit is all about programming and will get students to learning the basics of Python with an additional unit to build on this later on. This unit will include the following:
5-6 lessons with slides, starters and some discussion based activities
Key vocabulary for each lesson
Knowledge recall/retrieval starters
Paper-based starter activities to provide teachers with alternative activities
A pocket size programming challenges booklet.
A student workbook that they complete lesson by lesson. Answer booklet also included.
SOW supported by a lesson-by-lesson commentary.
Homework in the form of a Microsoft Forms quiz.
Assessment criteria including a rubric for any schools who use Teams to assess.
