La Comida: Verb infinitives, translation and more!

This resource is designed for learners to build confidence using food vocabulary by beginning to use it with topical verbs in increasingly more complex sentences. There is a particular focus on translation skills.

It assumes some prior knowledge of food vocabulary and there is a crossword resource included to practice this (could be a dictionary starter activity if students haven’t learned the vocabulary yet). Also included in this resource is a worksheet to test all learning- this could be an open book test if desired.

• learn meal time verb infinitives and conjugation
• recap adverbs of frequency
• translation sentences Spanish to English and English to Spanish
• translation of passage Spanish to English and English to Spanish to further challenge
• learn the ingredients for chocolate brownies in Spanish
• use the new infinitives in three tenses
