Origins of World War One

Complete bundle of lessons that examines the outbreak of World War I from the Franco-Prussian War until the July Crisis.

Individual lessons on:

4. Militarism and the naval arms race
5. Alliances
6. Nationalism and the Balkans
7. The assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand
8. The outbreak of WWI

The end of term GCSE baseline assessment from the Edexcel website is also included, along with the mark scheme.

This is part of a series of lessons that aims to encompass the new 9-1 GCSE and IGCSE skills into Key Stage 3.
