A standalone task suitable for a practical cover lesson for Year 8 or 9. The worksheet contains a simple 8-bar melody with advice on how to work in pairs to harmonise it using chords from a option list. Then they should learn to play the melody with their harmonisation at a keyboard or with a melody instrument and guitar. Extension activity included.
