Preterit regular verbs sentence practice

Preterit tense: Sentences with regular -ar, -er, -ir verbs

For each verb type (-ar, -er, -ir) write original sentences using the guidelines below.

1. Use a different clue word from the list provided (ex: ayer, anoche etc)

2. Conjugate each verb for the subject provided

3. Add 4-5 words to expand on the sentence. Sentences should make sense and not be repetitive (using the same words over and over)

Students will write a total of 18 sentences (6 per verb type). A template is provided for students to write their sentences.

Verbs included:

-AR: hablar, comprar, dibujar, mirar, escuchar, trabajar

-ER: comprar, aprender, vender, beber, correr, comprender

-IR: vivir, escribir, salir, recibir, compartir, decidir
